The Regional Social Communication Meeting was held from the 22-06-2009 to the 24-06-2009 at the Sibu Pastoral Centre, Sarawak. Representatives form the various Dioceses of Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei attended the meeting. Bishop Cornelius Sim from the Diocese of Brunei was the incoming President of the Committee. After the meeting the Sibu Diocese arranged for the delegates to be taken for a short “city tour”. They visited the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Mary of Divine Mercy and St. Teresa Church.
