St. Mary’s Cathedral Sandakan: The day that all catechumens wait for had come. On this special Saturday morning they will receive Ephphata from our parish priest, Father Raymond, to prepare them to receive the Sacrament of Initiation on the night of the Easter Vigil.
A total of 45 candidates took part, 40 candidates from the BM class, 2 candidates from the English class and 3 candidates from the Chinese class. Of the 45 candidates, 22 candidates will receive full initiation, 3 candidates will receive confirmation, and 19 candidates will receive baptism only. There were also 1 candidates from other denominations who were admitted to Catholicism.
