After a rather short time of just near to 3 years, Sr. Hilda fsic has to bid farewell to Holy Trinity Parish to take up her next assignment at La Foresta Retreat Center, Kiulu.
Sr. Hilda Gundotot fsic came from a family of 5 boys and 5 girls of Kampong Lokos, Tuaran. Before coming to Tawau, she was assigned to many rural parishes including
The rector Msgr. Ong said of Sr. Hilda fsic,” She is a quiet person who does a lot of work, whether in arranging masses in the sacristy or giving spiritual guidance to the various parish groups.” “Just like me.” he joked,” Says little but does a lot of work.”
Sr. Hilda fsic in her turn thanked the parishioners for being so helpful and supportive in her ministry while at Holy Trinity. She felt that the environment and atmosphere at the parish was indeed most friendly, and asked them to continue praying for her in her next assignment at La Foresta.
Parishioners also took the opportunity to give their best wishes to Sr. Tauria fsic who celebrated her feast day the previous day with a cake.
