CWA members packing goodies for the festive season

Tawau: Every year without fail, the Catholic Women’s Apostolate prepare some 1,500 goodie packets for children below 12 years old in the  28 outstation chapels and basis under HTC parish.

The priests and EMC will distribute the goodie packets in the month of December to children during their outstation visits.

The purpose of such practice is to let the children feel that they are not forgotten during the Christmas festive season.

On Sunday, 12th December 2010, the CWA organized a Christmas party for some 275 children from the various communities held at the Parish Basement Hall. The coming together of the various communities is a clear sign of strong solidarity prevailing in the parish and that is all about oneness being Church,
