Tawau : Holy Trinity Parish Tawau in collaboration with the Red Cross and Blood Bank of Tawau General Hospital launched the 3rd Blood Donation Drive on Sunday 14th August 201, starting from 8.00 am till 12.30 noon at the Holy Trinity Parish Hall.

The event was organized in response to the low blood supply in the
Parishioners are encouraged to donate blood to save lives, for such act of charity is a noble deed of generosity and solidarity. It is also a sign of our Catholic practice and promotion of the Church in extending care and love to our neighbors.
Some 68 parishioners from the various communities and ministries including the youth responded to the drive. After screening, only 51 were accepted for the blood donation exercise.
Magrina happy to donate her blood
One of the regular donor, Magrina Kiob shared that she was particularly happy because she could give back a portion to God for all the blessings she had received from Him.
All donors were presented with packets of egg, iron tablet, malt drink and biscuit
Immediately after the donation drive, all donors were feted to a ‘high tea’ reception.
